An Innovative Converterless Solar PV Control Strategy for a Grid Connected Hybrid PV/Wind/Fuel-Cell System Coupled With Battery Energy Storage

The proposed work addresses the modeling, control, energy management and operation of hybrid grid connected system with wind-PV-Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integrated Fuel Cell (FC) Electrolyzer. A PV-Wind-FC electrolyzer consisting BESS least number control loops converters has been proposed. presents a cost efficient solution for integrating PV into by eliminating converter. This includes design controllers grid-connected systems renewable distributed generator (Wind PV) as primary source, secondary source FC Electrolyzer tertiary source. In addition, lead compensator along integrator is used obtaining enough phase margin removing steady state error completely. It increases stability controller adds shift φ s at cross gain frequency (ω xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">cut ). Grid Side Controller (GSC) capable providing support to utility grid, when it linked grid. configuration, power maximized injected through GSC. Rotor Converter (RSC) GSC ensure sharing burden station. Moreover, coordination eliminates effect intermittency generated from wind PV. Excess production distribution generation generate hydrogen. hydrogen further there not due unfavorable weather conditions. presented fulfill load profile, avoid overcharging minimize fluctuation Wind sources. method guarantees flow service continuity. Simulink model results validate efficiency compared conventional reported in literature. modeling analysis demonstrated using MATLAB model. Lastly, also examined system.
